Vice Minister Niu Dun meets Minister of Agriculture of Guinea Bissau

Vice Minister Niu Dun met with visiting Minister of Agriculture of Guinea Bissau Nicolau dos Santos and his delegation on December 30, 2013. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening agricultural cooperation.
Niu appreciated the progress made in bilateral agricultural cooperation, including technological communication, human resource training and other sectors. He also put forward a five-point proposal for future collaboration: first,to increase exchange of high-level visits and enhance mutual understanding; second, to step up agricultural S&T exchange and cooperation; third, to expand cooperation in human resource training; fourth, to advance sustained and sound agricultural trade; and fifth, as always, China will encourage eligible agri-businesses to invest in Guinea Bissau, hoping that the Guinea Bissau side could provide favorable conditions in this regard.
Minister Santos fully agreed with Niu''s comments and the proposal. "We are looking forward to working with China to enhance the partnership in various fields, and adopting facilitation measures for Chinese enterprises", he said.
